What Can I Do for You?

In May 2022, I graduated with honors with my associate's degree in English. I'm currently set to earn my bachelor's for English in Professional and Technical Writing in December 2024 in order to become a professional editor. Since December 2020, however, I've been a freelance editor and book formatter for numerous authors!

All editing, proofreading, and mentoring services are closed until further notice.

***All manuscript services must be booked a MINIMUM of forty (40) days in advance. Any sooner will incur a rush fee of $40.***

Proofreading

Catching and identifying typos and grammatical mistakes – $150/50,000 words

Copy Editing

Correcting typos, grammar, and punctuation, as well as ensuring sentence clarity (edits explained) – $0.004/word

Line Editing

Creative feedback on individual lines, such as suggesting stronger diction, better organization, realistic dialogue, etc. (edits explained) – $0.0085/word

Substantive Editing

Copy editing & line editing (edits explained) – $0.0075/word

Developmental Editing

Reading for fundamental errors such as incomplete arcs, flat plot, plot holes, etc. Each chapter is broken down individually with my critiques and explanations on what I enjoyed and what to improve – $0.0065/word

Writing Mentoring

A one-on-one Zoom session where you may ask for in-depth and detailed advice about any writing topic of your choice. Exercises included – $15/30 minutes

Interior Book Formatting

Formatting your book for publishing (partnered with McKenna Rowell for e-book formatting, comes at a separate fee) – $50 base price for paperback, includes the following:

• title page
• copyright page
• table of contents
• acknowledgements page
• text chapter headings
• text page numbers
• text scene breaks
