In May 2025, I graduated magna cum laude with my bachelor’s degree in English for Professional and Technical Writing. Since December 2020, however, I’ve been a freelance editor and book formatter for numerous authors I’m proud to call my clients—and I'd love to make your project come to life!
Potential Fees
• All editing services must be booked a MINIMUM of forty (40) days in advance. Any sooner will incur a rush fee of $40.
• For editing and formatting services, manuscripts must come in industry-standard formatting (8.5”x11” page size, 12-pt. Courier New or Times New Roman font, double-spaced, 1” margins, 0.5” indentation). A $15 manuscript cleanup fee will otherwise apply.

Proofreading – $0.008/word
Identifying typos and grammatical mistakes.
Copy Editing – $0.009/word
Correcting typos, grammar, and punctuation, as well as ensuring sentence clarity. All edits explained.
Substantive Editing – $0.015/word
Copy editing AND line editing (creative feedback on individual lines). All edits explained.
Interior Book Formatting
Formatting your book for publishing (partnered with McKenna Rowell for e-book formatting, comes at a separate fee).
Base package for paperback:

• text chapter headings
• text page numbers
• text scene breaks
Add-ons and extras may be requested and discussed in email.
